#037 - Devastation

This is a shot I took in the Galloway Forest in Scotland. As soon as I saw the scene of devastation of the forest from the storms of the previous winter and logging I was reminded of similar images by Ansel Adams.

#036 - Peditrait of Lindsey

I was impressed by an article in this months "Black & White Photography" magazine about the photographer Ray Spence, Especially one of his images was entitled "Feet & Hands". If you think about it, each persons hands and feet are as unique as their face, giving an insight into the type of life they have lived. I decided to produce a Peditrait of my wife Lindsey, hope you like it.

#032 - Treeline Crop

This is another cropped image to suit my new frames!

As you can see it is a variation of a previous post Tree Scape. I think the crop adds to the image.

UPDATE
This image was selected as Photograph Of The Week (Wk 35) at Rivington Park Galleries

#031 - Southport Pier

Just bought a couple of new picture frames and I'm trying a new aspect ratio to suit the frames.
This image is a modification of a phot taken by my nephew "Brantwood" during a photoshoot at Southport on a cold January morning a couple of years ago. I particularly the interplay of the shadows and the diagonal of the joints and countersunk screw holes.
